So I just bought an international 500c everything worked when I bought it but I wasn t able to really use it because there was nothing I could push or dig with it where the crawler was located.
As soon as I got it home and started using it it would push in forward under a decent load but no where near what I ve seen the same machine do when operating properly. The motor never bogs and the engine never over revs just stays the same rpm you put it at ie full throttle, half throttle etc. I have the owners Manuel and the old man who owned it kept good notes on what and when he replaced things. The steering clutches and brakes work great but I looked at the manual and best I can figure is that the reverser clutch packs are in need of replacing and or the engine clutch. Does anyone have any idea if there is something else I can check before I rip this apart. I ve drained the transmission oil as per owners manual and replaced the filters. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
