Plenty of discussions about black stripe differences out there, with a lot of bad information in them.
First black stripe serial number for 1566 is 11929. Like other 66 series that is late 1975 so the tractor will have the serial tag in the traditional location on the left side of the bell housing.
Serial number is the ONLY true way to know you have a black stripe because most of the other CHANGES were phased in. I would not consider them "features" as they did not change existing functionality of the tractor, just the way it looked.
What makes them special is being "genuine" black stripe tractors. There are a lot of fakes, and if you've been around this group any amount of time you know how wound up they can get about "fake" tractors.
