I believe a couple of you have said you grew up in a house like this. I did not but my mother did. These houses were very common around here in the late 1800 to early 1900. Today you can find them in all conditions. From well maintained like these too needs paint and repair too dang someone lives in that shack. Called a shotgun house. The house has no hall way. You have to walk through each room to reach the back room. Parents usually have the back room for this reason.
