On Friday morning I was up early for the 110 mile drive to Grove,OK for a 9:36 AM sale... I was attending the Bennett-Prather sale located just northeast of Grove,OK...Mrs Prather had passed and her son in law and his wife were retiring and moving to New Mexico to be near their son..They had a pecan and cattle operation..THe farm was being sold and the pecan equipment went with the farm.I knew Mr Bennett thru antique tractor pulling..This was a huge sale and they ran 3 rings from 9:36 AM until around 12:30 PM...After that they ran 2 rings until the sale was over around 3 PM..It was a beautiful sunny day with temps in the 70's..
