Hello I was advised by a member to contact you regarding an issue I'm having with my IH 660 diesel. Would you consider giving me some advice on my issue? I've had this tractor for several years and it has not been started for the past two years. I'm trying to sell it and this would not go well if I can't get it running. I've cracked the primary and secondary filters and got clear flow of fuel. I then cracked the main input line to the pump as well as the return and again got fuel. When I disconnected the #1 line at the injector I got negative results. Why would that be? I assume the pump has gummed up with old fuel because the tractor hasn't been run for so long. What would you recommend I do to resolve this issue Is there a way to inject cleaner into the pump to free it up? I've even thought of using a heat gun to heat the pump, not hot buy enough to penetrate the pump innards to loosen the gum. What do you think would work? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Wayne

But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out. After numerous dead ends for a replacement carb, I went to work fixing mine.I soldered new floats on the float arm, they came from an old motorcycle carb, replaced the packing on the throttle shaft with o-rings, cut new ga
