Good its not stuck. Find a starter from an old tractor would be your cheapest way out. Best go remove the carb and clean it. Go through the ignition , make sure you have spark. Even belt it up to a tractor and let it turn over and get things lubed up. Thats how I got my LA running. There was rust and junk flying out the exhaust pipe , then advanced the mag and she fired up still blowing junk out. Exhaust was covered also. Just from sitting the manifold gets flakes of rust loosened up. Had it at the pulls and those are one strong tractor. And of course give it an oil and filter change. Seamed like it took forever to fill that oil canister and get oil to the rockers. Did all this on the belt pulley with valve cover off after adjusting the valves to make sure had oil up there. Very easy starting that big engine with 6 volt as that is what it is. Just one flip and its running. I am even looking for a crank for mine as it was taken off.
