Here is a picture of the power steering pump on a D14, the D15 is similar. The cylinder is below the pump, between the engine and frame rail. If it doesn't have power steering the pump, tubes, and cylinder will not be there, just open space. Those pumps are not readily available, so if you have one that works treat it right. A premium UTHF can be used for lube in the front bolster which is the oil reservoir for the power steering.
