As of 11/14/2022 YT Support has set the filter, in Modern only, to allow a new user to post pictures after they have made one text post. So, one should be able to add pictures to their second post and after. The 7.5 mb size limit for one picture or the total of several pictures in a post still applies. The Classic view filter has not been changed at this time, those using Classic may still need to have more than 5 posts on record before adding pictures.
Upload one or more videos to your post. Photo and video filesizes should be less than 8MB. Formats allowed are gif, jpg, png, ogg, mp4, mov, and avi. Be sure to use filenames without spaces or special characters, and filetypes of 3 digits lower case.
