BIL has two IHC tractors with bosch pump. One has the VA-4 pump on it, the other has the VE-4. Both were leaking and he asked me if I would do something to stop the leaks. Watched a couple of UTVs. One was a fellow dismantling a pump off a TD8 dozer and the other was a fellow replacing the head oring on a VW while pump was still on the car. paid close attention on the VW repair about rotating the engine such that pump is charged all the way back. So I ordered a seal kit off Ebay and replaced orings on VA-4 throttle and kill shafts as well as the head oring with out taking pump off tractor. The VA-4 was a challenge because of the slotted screws. But using a c clamp made it easier to pop them loose. I marked the levers to the shafts of the throttle and kill so that I got them back on as they came off. Never saw BIL so happy to have them fixed with just an oring kit.
