My fun car is a 2012 Corvette GS with the LS3 motor. I just replaced a set of run flats that were original but only had 18 K on them. I could hear that impact going around the wheel 3 times. I asked the shop owner rhat torque he uses on vettes and he shot right back, 125 lbs I said the manual calls for 100 lbs and that's what I want them torqued to. He then added We want to make sure they don't come off. I quit then and just went home and used my torque wrench and a 3 foor cheater pipe to break them out of 130 lbs torque. And he lost my wheel lock socket in the process.
