If you want to know what I'm talking about scroll down to my post, Round 2 it experiment I discovered the ammeter was responsible for the missing voltage in my series circuit. By removing the ammeter, the sum of the voltage across the ballast and the coil voltage added to equal the battery voltage. So the hair like lead wires to the ammeter were too small.
So I ordered 20 bananas connectors from amazon. HiLetgo 20pcs 4MM Banana Plug Male Audio Speaker Jack Amplifier Banana Plug Terminal Connectors (10 Red + 10 Black) I plan to make 20 voltmeters leads using 14g wire. I have some alligator attachments so some of my leads will have a banana connector on one end of the leads and an alligator clip on the other end.
I ordered a ballast resistor from amazon for my Jubilee. I will use the Jubilee's 6v coil and new ballast resistor. I'll put the 6v coil in series with the ballast resistor and measure the voltage across each. If I measure the same voltage across each, coil and ballast, that will tell me each has the same resistance, 1.5 ohms. I don't have an accurate ohmmeter that can measure 1.5 ohms.
Funnies What do you call a super conductor? Ohmless. What do you call your brother that became your sister? A trans-sister.

Today's Featured Article - Listening to Your Tractor - by Curtis Von Fange. Years ago there was a TV show about a talking car. Unless you are from another planet, physically or otherwise, I don’t think our internal combustion buddies will talk and tell us their problems. But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
