I suppose you may not count me as another member since I have replied here already. But I agree with everything JimME said as it pertains to your treasure. Even though the amount of those engines in salvage yards has probably declined quite a bit in the last 10 -15 years they still can be found. The head that just has been pulled off a salvage engine in a yard will be in much better condition than yours. I find guys on here are funny, often they look at new posters as outsiders to a degree. Then they also read what has been posted and see that it is not a tractor part so they simply add no reply. My question is what kind of place do you live at that you find such a ..treasure.. near your home? It must not be a residential area. So final answer, boat anchor. Thanks for dropping by!
