Not an expert in any way but my father used to keep ferrets and think they ate the bits that we did not. My uncle kept and bred ferrets until his death in the early 2000's and we still have a game keeper who has them in the village today. Again, there are regulations controlling the use of ferrets in hunting as there are using hounds for fox hunting. Not my thing, but I do wonder about all the laws today.
