Had the same problem with my diesel truck, 'bout drove me crazy. Finally found a pinhole in fuel intake line in fuel tank. Thought I had it fixed when I soldered it shut, and yes, it didn't leak. Finally swapped intake line from other tank, and works fine now, on the one tank. Any place in your fuel system where fuel is being drawn in under a vacuum, like prior to a fuel pump? Or does fuel feed by gravity? I'd be inspecting fuel lines & connections prior to filter very thoroughly. May not show as a leak where fuel gets out of lines. Also could there be a bend or obstruction in fuel line causing an unusually high vacuum to be created prior to fuel pump or injector pump? This could aggrivate the situation. Good luck!
