Ah the Pug. Roughest and toughest utv out there. Unless its got a Harbor Freight engine. . .
Hey y'all, so I have this Pug Badlands, I think its an 80s model but I honestly don't know. And when purchased, lets just say that it was heavily customized . . .it has the gondola style bed, the 4 speed Escort trans and the round/square style headlights (if that makes any sense). I know it originally had a Kohler V-twin but it didn't come with it. Does anybody know the model of the original engine that woulda been in this unit? I either want to find one of the original engine models or I would use the model to find out what model EFI Vanguard I could swap in. Also, I know that later on in the manufacturing they switched to the 5 speed trans, does anyone know if the 5 speed was an improvement? specifically if 1st gear is a higher ratio on the 5 speed? 1st gear on our 4 speed is just a little too fast, I'd love a slower gear. Thanks for any information y'all can provide on this rare bird.

But no matter how good or bad auctions may be, we always seem to stay until the item we've come for or are interested in is on the block. I've been to some auctions near and far. I think the furthest has been the Two Cylinder 7 in the Amana Colonies last year. Lots of stuff, lots of people. I've also atten
