I hope y all don t get tired of me asking silly questions.
I have a aftermarket cab on this old 966 Farmall tractor. It took a while to figure out how to remove the metal plate that was hiding the clutch booster. I think that plate might have been a battery plate at one time.
First silly question. I began loosening the nuts on the rear clutch linkage and the nut on the linkage went all the way back but did not release the linkage from the booster. I turned the nut closest to the plunger and it loosened by pushing the plunger into the booster. Just wanted to make sure that was correct before I continued.
Second silly question. There is a second plunger on the front side of the booster. Do I loosen those nuts or disconnect the linkage in the front. It connects to a a U shape piece that probably goes to the clutch.

I’d probably plowed about 3000 acres (in my head anyway) by the time they found me. This is where my love for tractors started and has only gotten worse in my tender 50 yrs on this “green planet”. I’m par
