Just checking if anyone here has ever pulled one. Mine needs to be serviced. Tractor is new to me. First time using, PTO clutch brake locked up after 2 acres shredded.
I've pulled the side cover off and have it unlocked. Can't get the piston out. My question is, can I remove the assembly through the top plate or do I need to split the tractor? I have seen both answers depending on who you ask. Also my service manual doesn't seem to match my tractor, so I just don't know who to get a definitive answer from.
My service manual doesn't show double springs inside the brake assembly, but that's what came out.
