I would run from any front fold model that has to turn the wheels on it to go from plant to transport like the 9180 does. I would want the tires to be the 22.5or such. Those little 15 inch tires barley carry the load. This is on a White 9180 16row. I see the later models are using bigger tires and not twisting the 4 tires that it is carried on in transport either. Good planters otherwise. If you look at a shoup catalog most of the parts will interchange for wheels and discs. Yep seed meters are different. I put Deere discs on our White last year and dealer discs were only about .70cents difference for the 25 or so I got from Deere versus Shoup. Shoup is not cheap anymore for parts. It pays to shop around and consider the cost of freight. Yes the there was in 25 or so discs only 70 cents in the whole bill difference. Deere being more. Might have even gotten them to cut the 70 cents off. Both had the bearings on the disc.
