A Deere 3010 diesel with about 20,000 hours on it. I was just getting started farming in the early 90's and bought a cheap well used 3010 for $3200. I knew it needed some work but never thought that much. Spent another $3200 on it before it ever went to the field. Had the steering box rebuilt twice. Had all brand new 24 volt wiring from Deere and still had problems. It got 24 volt going to the lights twice. Sure was bright before it burned all the bulbs out. A friend got me some 28 volt bulbs somewhere. The tractor always needed something. Found a very low hour 3020 gas and switched the diesel engine over into it. It still feeds cows every day with a tmr mixer. I took the 3010 with the 3020 gas engine to a consignment sale. I always wondered where it went and how the new owner got along with it? Maybe I finally had everything fixed? Tom
