Wouldn't it be as simple as taking a trailer axle with the correct width along with the wheels and tires and just remove the leaf springs? You could replace the leaf springs on the axle with a fabricated piece that mounts to where a drawbar plate goes under the tractor (on my 8N there's 4 threaded holes) and then to the angle-iron under the fenders. This fabricated triangle-shaped piece would require a 6 - 8 bolts in these areas for support, then maybe even something to brace it more toward the front of the tractor - like a bar or angle iron running from a solid location on the tractor. Maybe from bolts where the tractor splits or, on newer tractors, threaded holes where a loader would go. Coming up with the tracks seems simple enough - go with this track company, bobcat-type tracks, or, as someone who sent me email on this subject, make them out of chains and tracks yourself. It's probably more difficult to do than on paper. I just don't have any money to try it. No money, no fun! --Steve
