It was running untill somebody left it set and stick the pistons so just a good cleaning and smothing the cylinder walls should let it run good enough for all you are wanting to do that is more the play than heavy use, Not hooking to a plow and going out to plow a field 10 hours a day for a month. I don't think you will have any problems with just doing a refresh instead of doing a remanufactured job, If you were going to be usuing it heavily like we were when we had them bored then I would say go for the complete restoration way but for a play around tractor like you are talking as long as it starts you should be good unless and old piston would have gotten a crack in it from removing the piston from the block you should be good till you reach in 50 more years retirement age when you cannot get fuel to be running it. Don't worry about being the same as when it came from the factory as some are saying you need to do. Just get it running and enjoy it. I wish I still had my 1846 B that is same size as yours but I traded it off on a bigger tractor in about 1968 and at 79 I dought I could drive it anymore.
