I was a 4 year member of the FFA and am still an alumni member. The Alumni sponser an annual dance around St Valentine's Day day that hasn't happened for the last few years because of ''you know what''. I was the class sentinal as a freshman and then the treasurer as a sophmore. When we started as sophmores I talked the Ag teacher into having the classes build a hot dog stand to be used at the football games. He showed up with his car and a trailer load of lumber the next day and we spent our classroom time doing ''woodwork''. (;>)) That hotdog stand grew into hamburgers, coffee, soda pop and just about anything else that would sell on a cold autumn night. It turned out to be a real moneymaker that helped fund many ag class trips. I was the chapter president in my senior year and still have my FFA jacket and if I lost about 10 pounds it would fit.
