And a 1936 steel wheeled John Deere running gear which had wheels some what like you are using only my not trust worthy memory remembered them a little more robust and on a steel axle with cast iron hubcaps. Sheesh, I probably am wrong! But you are right in showing a much smaller diameter wheel for tongue support ..I do not remember the trucks for the horse drawn disc and he never had any ride-upon truck for the three section wooden drag we used.
