Nothing wrong with GMO grains. Several people died at Chipotles eating the organic stuff, there is a fact. No one has died from a gmo grain trait.
Everything in life has some risk, the potential is there for something to go wrong with a new gmo product. It is a far fetched theory in the gmo grain world, but can never say never.
A lot of people live in fear and are easy to manipulate.
Generally the gmo issue is all about the money. Mexico wants to support their farmers With trade barriers, and this is a way to affect grain trade without looking like a bad guy that is trying to affect grain markets. Pretty much the same on local direct sellers, create fear and use it to make a profit.
Mexico wants to ban food corn, which is mostly the white corn used for tacos. They will happily import yellow corn, which is mostly for livestock feed.
So its all about the money.
An odd deal, really. A lot of good folk are organic growers, its neat to have open markets and different sales avenues.
Just bugs me at times some of the the sellers create a cloud of fear and confusion, and then create profits from that fear and confusion. Odd they thrive on putting others down.
Im watching a seminar on organic growing right now, its in the corner of my iPad. Good info and some good people.

It increased the farm productivity and, in general, made life easier because more work could be done with this 'mechanical beast'. My dad dreamed that some day he would have his own tractor with every implement he could get. When he rea
