I tried putting old tires on a farmall h to make it correct a number of years ago. Working around the front of the house I heard what sounded like a shotgun going off. Guess what blew out from just the weight of the tractor? When it blew it ripped a chunk out of the sidewall and sent it 20 ft away. The tires we barely weather cracked and looked fine. Those with new tubes as well. Old tires while neat and correct are also dangerous. I strongly suggest you get new tubes and tires to avoid a catastrophic failure that could ruin you and the tractor and possibly someone around you. The new ones such as a set of American farmer 11.2 x 38 (the old 10x38in todays size) will set you back about 750 bucks. They look the part with 45 degree lugs and will not be dangerous to drive on.
