Yeah me too, I googled a lot to find any source for an old service manual with no luck. I did stumble upon an old post on here where a fella was told to look it up on the JD tech site. The thread ended there so I took a look myself because JD is pretty good at keeping tech data, but they had no service manual. The divider box is identical on the JD WA14,17 as well as my 9.
Thanks for pointing out the roller bearings and Morse chain. That's good to know there is no preload I need to worry about. I have found a few companies that can reproduce sprockets and a HY Vo chain isn't too hard to find either. Bearings are bearings and as long as there is a part number you can get replacements.
Guess my main concern is I don't like blindly wrenching on stuff without info or knowledge, especially when tech support is very small. If you are working on say a JD 4010 and run into a wall you can find info pretty easy. Wagner tech data is scarce and finding guys that know is also scarce. I'm pretty good at figuring out things but always try to find people I can ask questions to if I'm stumped. WagnerTractor.com used to be a good place to find info but that website no longer exists.

They were horrified (we lived by the railroad), my mother thought the worst: "He’s been run over by a train, he’s gone forever!" Where did they find me? Perched up on the seat of the tractor. I’d probably plowed about 3000 acres (in my head anyway) by the time they found me. This is where my love for tractors started and has only gotten worse in my tender 50 yrs on this “green planet”. I’m par
