I put a toilet and drain line in my new building and made a small septic tank out of a plastic swim pool filter tank with 30 feet of drain field. Works good for the occasional use?? Probably have to be tore out or updated if ever sold. It as good or much better than a OUT HOUSE and they were and still are in use forever. We were in a National Park a couple years ago and our Wonderful Government was OVERLY concerned about enforcing Covid rules but the Porta Pottys were not maintained and overflowing?? I don't think that passes the smell test??
