For the most part I want to go to those things to get away from lifes problems. Sit down 4 minutes or 4 hours and escape to a fun area away from my lifes problems. Escape the misery of the day.
But now, these sports performers, entertainers, and promoters have decided these minutes or hours should be filled with agendas and messages and really pretty negative overbearing opinions upon fans and former fans.
So where is the fun any more?
Just my simple, brief, trying to help you understand my view of it.
I still like the music or program or sport I always did. But now it is so shaded and clouded by virtual and real messages and political views I get lost on enjoying what I once enjoyed.
That tends to make me grumpy, I will admit.
When the Vikings played outdoors and they used tractors to move the snow off the field and the players let their actual play on the field show me how good they were, that was seeing some talent and respect and enjoyment. Lots of teams and folk in stands only sort of stood proper for the anthem but our coach at that time made our team stand proper and that added to my enjoyment. And seeing the tractors was cool too.
