Dad had a new holland 404 (i think was the number) that had two steel intermeshing rollers that really did a number on heavy clover and actually any kind of hay. Shortened curing time substantially.I think a 402 was a crusher with smooth rollers and the 404 a crimper. My numbers couldbe backwards. Been a long time
