I had one of the strangest LP tractors built. It was a JD 2010. Only a handful were made with propane. The vapor start system was pretty mean, and mine didn't do well at all in colder weather.
It was not very powerful, and yes the oil stayed clean so did the carb. I got so tired of working on the LP stuff, and having to wait for the propane truck to come by, I ripped it all out and put in gas tank, gas jets, and lines. It was a much better tractor on gas, and I sold it soon after for a slight profit.
I have a cabin on a gen and I use Champion duel fuel gens for it. Most of my running is on a 100Lb LP tank which will give me weeks of run time. I only use the gas when I take the tank over for refill. The gen runs better on LP because my gasoline gets old and begins to sputter. I've had to drain old gas out twice and replace it with fresh. While I don't get the power on LP as it's derated from 3400W to 3150W, I've never had any issues getting it to run the whole cabin. 3100W is still 26 amps, and that's plenty for everything I have, including my LP clothes dryer with a 110V tumble motor and blower.

Cylinders are the reason for the hydraulic circuit. They take the fluid power delivered from the pump and magically change it into mechanical power. There are many types of cylinders that one might run across on a farm scenario. Each one could take a chapter in
