After spending thousands over the years I finally gave up. Several months ago I saw an ad for Volt Bogo 300 from MD Hearing. They are behind the ear which gives you a large container for larger batteries (longer life) than the ones completely contained in the ear channel. They are $300 for the pair including charger...no more batteries to replace, one of my big problems with aids.
My hearing loss, years ago was - 90 dBc (audiogram detection) and was mainly in the 2k to 4k Hz. frequency....just happens to be the range of most female voices.....faking hearing loss syndrome was an excellent way to get out of having to do distasteful honey-dos....ha.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
