Seems to me that the trucks and cars being targeted are the vehicles with the high end features, and cost over $100,00.00 . They arent necessarily targeting the average $50,000.00 truck with cloth seats, they are out after the leather seat fully loaded models . And realistically no matter what your security system, if someone wants to steal your vehicle, they will take it. A locked garage is probably your first best line of defence, but what about when you are out with your vehicle? At work, at an overnight trip and in a hotel parking lot, or even the parking lot at the local shopping mall. Seems if you have something nice, theres always a thief willing to try and steal it. Best a person can do is make it harder for them. It wasnt like our old key ignition systems were fool proof.
