Applegate welcome to YT! Since you are new here a few things need to be known before we can proceed. What is your experience with tractors? Do you already have some others that you have maintained and used? Knowing these things will help us know if you are aware that proper fluid levels may have a large effect on the problem you are asking about. Did you buy it out of junker row in the back for a ..bargain.. price? Did it set unused a long time? There are just a lot of things that can affect the problems you are listing. It sounds like maybe the lining in the clutch may be coming apart. I do not know enough about Fords to answer the 3 point question outside of the consideration that it may not have enough hydraulic fluid which could also cause the dual power not to engage properly.
