1105/1135 and 699 are two different classes of tractors. 699 is about 10 years newer, and about an 80HP handy chore tractor. The 1105 and 1135's are big 100+ HP 1970's tillage brutes.
We demonstrated a new 699 when I was a kid. The shifting was kind of puzzling with 3 levers all side by side on the floor. There was two turtle-rabbit shifters and a 123R as I recall
