Good morning, JDIH: I have a Deere model 212 lawn/garden tractor with Kohler engine.. I took the carb to local Deere store, they messed with it a little and charged $20.00 and said they couldn't fix it. They also apparently dropped the main mixture needle and bent the pointed tip. (In my humble opinion, they don't really have an interest in fixing the old, small stuff). I finally ordered a carb from Amazon, pretty cheap! I had to alter the linkage just a little to make the throttle connection, but it has worked fine for two summers or more. This one is OK with me.
