I have bought china cheap carbs for several pieces of power equipment and have had mixed results. Some worked great for a short time some made it for the long haul. Once you find a brand that is decent try to stick with it if possible- also reading reviews helps weed out the bad knockoffs. One thing I think is nice about the cheap ones is that you can affordability buy a spare for equipment you will need in emergencies such as a generator. I have not found a decent cheapie for my husqvarna riding mower- the ones I have tried have been less than perfect. Probably will buy a real Briggs carb for it this summer
