of these Onan engines, last time I mowed last fall I parked in the shed and walked away, no sign of a problem. Got it out Saturday to get it ready to mow and the top of the deck is all oil as well as the frame I figured it was the crank seal I relaced over a year ago but that was dry. Oil sending unit was dry and the filter adapter gaskit looked good but I replaced it anyway. oil filter was tight but had to be the problem. I took all the tin off the engine to wash the oil out, but my newish pressure washer died. I scrubbed it out best I could with a stiff brush and solvent and it cleaned up pretty good. Oil filter had 44 hours on it, seal looked good. I hate putting all that tin back on but it started right up. The old girl has a little more than 2000 hrs. on it. wonder what it's got left
