I grew up with a 340u-we had the f-211 plow. We kept the draft lever in the 3rd notch from the top, the fast hitch receivers unpinned, no change to the leveling crank, and side to side unpinned. It was a great plowing tractor-when starting a furrow in hard ground we set the plow all the way down, so the points hit the ground, and as it sucked into the ground, raise the hitch to the suitable plow depth-7-8. As you raise it a little it will change the point angle-this is where the fast hitch receivers flex. Mark.
