I have used Devilbiss starting line paint guns. You can get a kit with a paint gun and a Primer gun for around 200 bucks. It might be a little out of your price range but it is a good starting gun to learn with. Ive moved onto their higher end guns that really work well. But you can do anything you want with starting line guns. You want to make sure you have a big enough air compressor to handle the job. I think the gun you buy will tell you how much airflow you need. as others have said its 90% preparation and 10% painting. It might seem a little overwhelming but you just gotta jump in and start. Do as much research as possible and make sure you read the paint can labels.
