This one had a Massey Harris serial number tag riveted on the flat surface between the rivets below where you found the stamped number.
From what I have gathered of the history of the Cletrac/MH deal, the tractors were provided to the MH dealers in Canada wearing their orange paint and decaled as The General, mfd by the Cleveland Tractor Company. Many of the MH dealers painted them red and added MH decals.
That said, it looks like the OPs tractor was built by Avery. I would guess some enterprising dealer sourced the tractor for a customer that wanted a replacement.
