It's just a snubber diode on a contactor on a ~2006 vintage genset with a Deere engine. There are two contactors, one for start and one for glow plugs.
I put a new genset controller on and while the previous one provided ground to the glow plug contactor the new one provides +12 so I had to reverse the wiring. Rushing trying to do the work outside with a severe thunderstorm approaching I missed reversing the snubber and fried it.
Certainly I could just replace with a diode on a couple ring terminals but these ones should be readily available somewhere and cheap.
