As I keep working on the 1974 I.H. model 674. I keep learning the facts about a English made farm tractor that somehow found its way to me. I first thought a engine block was to be easy. Little did I know that since the engine were made in Germany that the design of the block would change. which meant in getting camshafts meat you had to get a complete engine. to do the job right. I can say that I got a complete 239 diesel engine shipped to me. So I can get this tractor back up and running again. The picture I post here well it is because that I did not take the time in the first place to make Shure that the fist bare block, I got had come with the camshaft that was in it. instead, I had bought a bare block thinking parts would be easy to buy and get for it. found out later I was wrong. I had posted looking for the camshaft, but nobody said they had one for sale for me to buy. so, I instead had to look and locate an 239 diesel engine and get it shipped to me. It is only money you can't take it with you when you die. There are two designs on this engine. Plus, there are ones that are turbo engines to. still learning as I do this diesel project.

No. I am just happy to have their friendship. At least the word "farmer" is in my title. But what is the attraction? How can I explain the sensation and exhilaration I feel when I turn the key and hear the engine come to life (most
