In my nightly travels up the same 2 lane highway I see they were back planting again when I went by about 11pm Thursday night. Most likely trying to beat the heavy rain we got Friday and today. Plus this looked like a weekend farmer that has a 40 hr job this time as the planter was only about twice as wide as the tractor from what I could see.
Hard to tell what he was planting as I can not see the row layout in the dark field. Dont know why but they use a different hill row system for beans and corn so you can tell what they are planting just by looking at the rows. Assume it was beans because if he is planting corn he is very late. Corn in the area is up high enough you can see the rows in the fields with just the moon as a light source. About 6 to 12 inches tall from what I can tell.
