From a slight mechanical view. The turbo/supercharged engines used forced induction to make power. A normally aspirated engine does not have the piston being forced down by air pressure. Typically when you force something you are going to increase the wear on that item. So now your pistons that have gone from being pulled down to pushed down. I would suggest more frequented oil changes to extend cylinder wall life. 2.7? Is this the part you forgot to mention the transmission? If your running a 10 speed trans, the engine is just putting the transmission into it's power range and keeping it there. A forced 2.7 should do that adequately in front of that 10 sped trans. That engine is designed to poof in a approximate time and your going to be looking for another truck. Planned obsolescence.
