It works with limits. It cannot be exposed to sunlight after curing. It is OK to paint it with opaque UV resistant paint. It cannot be applied on non rusty metal. Flakes off of shiny steel. Only purchase it in containers that are the size used for a job. Get with the application and do not take a break. all application materials should be disposable quality, they do not clean up at all. Do not use excessive wire brushing just the loose flakes. I would use it again, but experience is a good teacher. It is not paint at all. I have had somewhat better reward using clear rust converters. Jim
