Hey, Stan, I'm also 80. I can also be tired, particularly after lunch. When I was still working, I took a cat nap at my desk, during lunch, when others went out, ate junk and maybe had a brew. These days, I unabashedly take a nap every day, every day. Lunch, nap. Twenty years ago, my nap might be 15 minutes. Now days, 45 minutes to one hour. Understand, I get up a about 5 am every day. I have a light breakfast (usually) and one coffee at home and take one with me to McD with about 8 other seniors. I get home, change clothes and start whatever task(s) that need my attention, and there are always many. Lunch, nap. Back to tasks. Sit down when needed and drink water. Dinner about 5:30. Maybe go out to the lawn swing and observe surroundings or read a book. Back into the house and check news, tractor sites like this one and Youtube for entertainment. Bedtime, 10PM Oh yeah, once in a while (maybe once per week) I pour me a shot (Maybe 2) of Scotch Whisky and water and either sit in my yard swing or in front of my computer. BTW, I have a great fear of being drowsy when driving. I had a bad accident when I was a lot younger. I was not getting enough sleep (no booze or drugs). Fortunately, no one else was involved.

Today's Featured Article - A Question for Dads This recent topic from the Tractor Talk discussion board is being highlighted because it is an awesome display of the caliber of individuals that have made this site their own. The young person asking questions received positive feedback and advice from total strangers who "told it like it is" with the care many reserve for their own kids. The advice is timeless... so although it isn't necessarily antique tractor related, it will be prominently displayed in our archives to honor those who have the courage to ask and those who have the courage to respond in an honest, positive manner.
