Mike ..... good comment. Armour All has a ton of newer products on the market now, perhaps all are improved over the original version which has been around forever. I started using it in the late 70's on the dashboard, tires, vinyl upholstery, plastic trim, etc. on a brand new van I bought. I found that it tended to make the plastic or rubber brittle and discoloured (brownish) .... especially tires. That was my take on it anyways. A solution was to keep doing it and the symptoms went away (for a while) until reapplication. I told that story to a friend and he said that his name for it was 'heroin' because once you started using it you had to keep it up. Personally, for whatever time the Ford tractor in this post is out in the sun I wouldn't put any of that stuff on the seat.
