Has anyone ever dealt with this on 79-81 Ford 340/540s? They changed the design it looks like with the latter models.
The left side rod end can be changed as normal. The right side rod end is integral to that portion of the rod (#35 in the diagram). It doesnt seem that the piece is made aftermarket and it seems like itll run about $400 with shipping.
Has anyone perhaps cut it off and welded a rod end on? Just checking for ideas. Thanks.
