I was at a DPS office for CDL paperwork once. They were pretty well organized and had an initial couple "triage" windows to check what people needed and direct them to the correct other windows, forms, etc.
When I got to the proper window the woman there was amazing and had another DPS office on the phone to transfer paperwork for me while she was handling another customer as well as helping the new guy working the other window. Presumably she has moved on to bigger and better things by now.
