my condolences. I havent posted it but I have lost my wife to cancer on may 17th. It was her 4th round with it. She had a partial removal of pancreas in 05. A complete removal of pancreas in 07. Then in 2014 after her 1st colonoscopy they found cancer there. That led to a colostomy bag. a year ago she was having trouble eating. Testing found a cancerous mass between the back bone and the stomach. Chemo helped for 8 months. Then tests showed the cancer was getting bigger. Changed to a stronger chemo. She had 3 doses lost her hair and got real weak. On easter she was so sick she couldnt get out of bed. As the day went on her skin turned yellow. Trip to e.r. told us the livers bile duct was blocked by a non cancerous mass. Trip to Henry Ford Hospital where they put to drains into her liver gave us about a month. Like you said it was peaceful and lord knows she deserved a peaceful ending as the medicines that she suffered through where terrible. She didnt complain but I saw it ravaging her body. Bless you for being strong and I hope that your faith holds true as the hard part of this sadness isnt over. We have to learn to live without the one person we never believed we would be able to live without.
